About Me

My name is Jordan Lorenz and I am really looking forward to this Poli Sci Class, I think it should be very interesting. The reason I am excited is because party politics is what dominates our country today, and governs how people react to policy and a particular party can influence the general public in so many ways. I also think that people associate with their party, to the death in some cases, and because of that will defend the party as well. I think this could create some great debate in the class which can really help learning about politics in many ways. Should be a very interesting semester. My biggest fear is whether or not I did this whole blog thing correctly so I guess I will find that out soon enough.

I am from Madison WI, and have been in school here for 2 years, and began my college career at MSOE. I enjoy politics and history and am studying to become a teacher in high school.

Here is a small article I really enjoyed from cnn.com I am setting this up as a link because I don't think that Former President Bush got enough respect, it shows that he did accomplish something in office, and something very important. http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/01/15/frist.bush/

  1. When you ask people who could/would do something like that for the people of Africa, President Bush I'm sure would be VERY low on that list of people! I couldn't agree w/ you more that he doenst get enough credit for his positives accomplishments in offce, his work in Africa just to name one of them.
